ITAL Seeking Technical Writer

IT Audit Labs is seeking a Technical Writer to support a project work stream that aligns with the release of a new and improved Service Desk tool.

Responsibilities

• Revise existing Knowledge Articles for continuity and ease of use for Service Desk agents

• Revise existing Self-Help articles designed to support end users with new Service Desk tool

• Create Knowledge articles as needed that align with current template and writing style

• Create Self-Help articles as needed that align with current template and writing style

• Lead project meetings and maintain notes of actions and deliverables

• Provide project updates to clients and internal resource teams

• Other technical writing needs, as requested by client

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent prior experience that can be demonstrated with examples of previous technical writing assignments and references

• Fluency in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Teams, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)

• Strong written, verbal and collaboration skills

The ideal candidate Must Have

• Self-starter with the ability to determine priorities, plan workload, and meet deadlines

• At least 3 years of experience as a Technical Writer in the IT industry

• Demonstrated work of previous Knowledge Articles authored

• Must be available during client standard business hours of 8 am to 4 pm, CST

The ideal candidate Nice to Have

• Ability to travel to offices in the Twin Cities 1 day per week to meet with client

• Previous consultant/contractor experience in similar role

• Previous experience with Ivanti Service Desk tool

Additional notes
